Video recordings of naturally occurring interactions in families, ie. adults and children talking; children playing with each other.

Elicited production of stories told from picture stimuli.

A comprehension task is used to evaluate how children process the competing cues of word order and ergative case marking in their two primary languages, Light Warlpiri and Warlpiri.

A complete-the-story production task is used to elicit 2nd person pronouns and imperatives.

A Comprehension Task

In this task children and adults see two events each with two animate characters. In each event one character performs an action on the other. The children hear a sentence and point to one of the events. There are 32 animations in the series, each is a few seconds long. These stimuli are available on request.
